1. Over the weekend the U.S. Senate passed historic relief for the American people. It was passed WITHOUT a Single Republican vote in favor of it. It should be noted that according to polls 75% of the American population are in favor of it. In addition to the $1400 in direct payments, there is a provision for tax credits for children that will essentially eliminate 50% of childhood poverty thereby putting more money into the hands of parents and if I understand it correctly there will be periodic payments during the year to the parents, essentially giving them more disposable income for the year to raise their children on. There is also money for state and local governments. This act is supported by many GOPQ Governors and Mayors ! Including the GOPQ Governors of Maryland and West Virginia.

Note that the GOPQ Senators bitched about the 1.9 Trillion price tag of course their tax cut to the wealthiest among us a few years ago pretty much carried the same price tag.
